The way he pursues her is way over the top and he starts calling her Babe at the very beginning when they barely know each other. She resists him because of this horrible thing her ex did to her. It is a sex tape that gets sent to all of her contacts. Her family doesn't speak to her for months. Seriously! Did they watch it?! The "F" word is used very frequently. The sex scenes are very explicit. I scanned through most of the book just to see what happened. What a waste of time!

I had not read anything by this author, but the summary intrigued me and I bought the book (it is currently free). I am so glad that I did, what a great read! Wyatt Hunter is a detective with the NYPD and he is everything that you would want a policeman to be, strong, brave, kind and doing the best that he can in the environment in which he works. He meets Winter Bennett when she pushes herself through a restroom window and into the dumpster below in order to avoid her ex-boyfriend. Wyatt was in the middle of a sting operation in the alley and obviously this ended the sting. This got me hooked and I read the book in one sitting. There is attraction between Wyatt and Winter, but Winter has had some disastrous issues in her past and she is not ready to trust any man. Wyatt will do his best to earn her trust and keep her safe when danger ensues. I loved the interaction between Wyatt and Winter, his family and her family as they come to love each other. Great characters and story line and a truly enjoyable read. The next book in the series is currently out and I look forward to Logan’s story. (by paytonpuppy)
I can't believe it! Lola has done it again! I didn't think i would like anything more than her guardians series and the spin offs but she has completely captivated me with Wyatt and Winter. A love like that is few and far in between but this book captures true love and love at first sight better than anything i have read before. I plan on telling every one i know about this story.. that is everyone I haven't told already..thank you Lola for again letting me get lost in this beautiful world you have created with your words
Anything For Love by Lola St. Vil is a fabulous contemporary romance. Ms. St. Vil has delivered a well-written book and packed it with amazing, lovable characters. Winter leaves her date behind and runs from her ex. She manages to dumpster dive into the middle of Wyatt's attempt to capture a criminal that's been branching off into narcotics. Wyatt and Winter's story is loaded with drama, action, suspense, sexy bits and humor. The humor will have readers laughing out loud but there is a spot or two where you might shed a tear. It's a good thing I read fast because once I started this book, I couldn't put it down. I totally loved Anything For Love and look forward to reading more from Lola St. Vil soon. Anything For Love is book 1 of the Hunter Brothers Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
I didn't care much for this book.
It was hard for me to keep reading after the first few chapters.
While the story was okay, the main characters didn't work for me.
I wanted to like Wyatt but his crassness and selfishness about his work were hard to get past.
I wanted to like Winter but her bleeding heart didn't ring true.
I didn't care for the use of God's name in vain. I think that any conversation can be just as strong and powerful without the use of God's name.
While the lure of the Hunter brothers sounds intriguing, I don't think I will be trying the next book.
Wowza! I just discovered Lola, and I'm so glad I did! I absolutely adore her as a writer. This story with Winter and Wyatt was so amazing! Wyatt! What a hero! He's strong, kind, and so understanding of Winter's hesitation of getting involved with a man again after what her ex did to her. Seriously, Wyatt had me swooning the entire story. Not only did I adore both Wyatt and Winter, but I just simply loved each and every character so much, I need to read their stories too! The storyline kept me engrossed the entire time! I can not wait to get to the other books in this series!
Book needs an editor. Lots of wrong words, missing words, etc. Even confused the Hero's last name. Could be shortened to "Hunt" as a nickname, but his lady calling him "Mr. Hunt" instead of Hunter was distracting.

I love series and bought this first book for free, but not sure I am willing to pay five dollars for the next one.

Will have to see if my curiosity about the other brothers coaxes me into buying the next one.....but probaby will not.
First of all, I hate paying money for books whether it is 99 cents or $8 and finding a lot of editing errors. That's a pet peeve of mine. Surely this author could have enlisted the help of some beta readers or at least a decent editor. There were mistakes in here that spell check won't pick up. (sequence for sequins) .There was a good story here and I did find myself a little teary eyed at times but the action part of it was over so quickly that it was disappointing. I couldn't figure out Wyatt's sister-in-law and not sure I like her at all. I see potential in this series but there is no way I'm paying $5 for Logan's story if the book isn't edited better than this one. I'm all for authors getting paid for their work but please give us some quality.
